She has not only had to deal with physical pain, but psychological and emotional distress as well. I would not wish Colitis on my very worst enemy, it is a horrible, heartbreaking disease, and I'm glad Chris is finally starting to heal. Watching the one you love the most suffer as much as Chris has is simply awful. Were it that love was enough to heal all the hurt.....
